Here at NLI Inc., we are proud of our unique ability to safely lift and relocate fully loaded bookshelves and stack ranges for a wide variety of needs. This capability allows libraries to renovate, replace flooring, reconfigure layouts, or achieve ADA compliance without removing books or disrupting the organization of the collection.
We can assist with selecting the right product for your specific needs, identifying the areas to be replaced, and measuring the space to determine accurate material quantities. Our team can also help develop a realistic budget and a clear plan for completing the work efficiently and with minimal disruption.
In many cases, the pre-planning and product selection have already been completed, and you simply need a team to handle the stack moving and carpet tile installation. We can step into an established plan and carry out this phase efficiently, coordinating with existing schedules and site conditions to keep the project moving forward smoothly.
We are also happy to provide stack moving services only if flooring installation has already been contracted to a carpet provider, or if your project involves shelving reconfiguration rather than new flooring. Our team regularly coordinates with installers, contractors, and library staff to ensure work proceeds safely and efficiently. We are accustomed to fitting into existing project plans and collaborating with all parties to support a smooth outcome.

This project came with many challenges from having to work around construction to nonfunctioning elevators, and so many more.
